Digital Photography for Beginners (Level 1)
The aim of this course is to teach participants how to get the best use from their digital camera. The course will focus on camera settings, edit & enhancing images in Adobe Photoshop Elements and printing of photographs.
Duration Six weeks Thursdays, 7 pm—10:30 pm

Saving image files—JPEG, TIFF, and e-mail How to eliminate red eye in your photos How to use the dodge, burn and clone tools to improve your photos Printing Combined B&W and colour photography Photo album page with multiple images and text Creating a contact sheet of all your photos Adjusting printer settings for high definition photo printing Printer inks and paper Printer maintenance, ink, paper, nozzle, and alignment issues
Prerequisite Basic familiarity with your digital camera and basic computer skills.
